NICK DIPAOLO STAND UP COMEDY
Comic Nick DiPaolo, famous for his biting routine and the Comedy Central celebrity roasts, is performing on the Suffolk Theater stage. Read Dan’s Papers’ interview with DiPaolo here Tickets are $35. UPTOWN ELM: HIGH SCHOOL CLUB NIGHT AT 230 ELM

WESTHAMPTON BEACH 47TH ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
The parade steps off from Westhampton Beach Elementary School on Mill Road at noon and ends on Main Street near Sunset Avenue.
AM O’GANSETT PARADE
The parade begins at 12:01 p.m., stepping off in front of Mary’s Marvelous in Amagansett, to the computer store and back again. The whole parade takes about five minutes.
DAN’S PAPERS LITERARY PRIZE FOR NONFICTION READING
Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. the Literary Salon reconvenes at the Southampton Inn for another reading event with Dan’s Papers founder Dan Rattiner and local writers. Among this Saturday’s readers are Sag Harbor’s Nancy Remkus, who wrote “Growing Up on the East End: A Daughter’s Memoir,” and Andrew Lenoir, the writer of “Washed Up on the Rocks.” Their stories were among Dan’s Papers‘ favorites in the 2013 Literary Prize for Nonfiction contest. MARDI GRAS PARTY
Wolffer Estate Vineyard hosts its annual Mardi Gras Party. The HooDoo Loungers will perform. Price is $75 per person and includes an open wine bar, cupcakes, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, and prizes or best mask, plus a king or queen for whoever finds the charm in the cupcakes. PURIM FESTIVAL
Sag Harbor’s Temple Adas Israel will celebrate the Jewish festival of Purim with a family fun day. A storyteller will will read the Megillah and other activities include a Tumble Bus, Henna tattoos and a Purim Spiel. Food and drink will be served. Hampton Theatre Company performs Larry Shue’s The Foreigner. The comedy is about a shy and awkward English traveler in rural Georgia who becomes an unlikely hero.
