Hamptons Celebs Join Howard Stern for Billy Joel Town Hall

Monday at the Cutting Room in New York City, Southampton’s Howard Stern hosted a town hall-style event with Sag Harbor’s Billy Joel, and a few other Hamptons residents joined in.

The event, which was broadcast live on SiriusXM and rebroadcasts multiple times over the next few days, included interviews with Joel and performances.

Joel played piano as Idina Menzel sang “Honestly,” and Joel and Pink performed “She’s Always a Woman.” Melissa Etheridge sang “Only the Good Die Young” while she played guitar and Boyz II Men performed “For the Longest Time.” Tony Bennett closed the show.

Among those who posed questions were Southampton’s Rachael Ray and Water Mill’s Matt Lauer.
