Hot Hamptons Events This Weekend: Parrish Spring Fling, Shop Hop, Katy’s Courage

The Way Out East concert at Bay Street Theatre and the Josh Levine Memorial Foundation at American Hotel are both be sold out, but this weekend there are so many exciting East End events to choose from.

Friday, April 4

Performing with YOU
Resident artist Jayoung Chung, in collaboration with Nixon Beltran, performer, dancer and The Watermill Center manager, will present Performing with YOU, a 40-minute multimedia work, combining dance, sound, drawing and text. Little Shop of Horrors Screening
The classic musical film Little Shop of Horrors will be shown at Suffolk Theater. Enjoy dinner and a movie at the same time. Tickets are $12.50 and showtime is 8 p.m. The bar and restaurant open at 6:30 p.m. Visit for tickets. Suffolk Theater, 118 E Main Street, Riverhead

Katy’s Courage 5K
The annual run to benefit Katy’s Courage, a nonprofit in memory of the late Katy Stewart who died from a rare form of pediatric cancer, begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Southampton Shop Hop
Southampton Village and the Southampton Chamber of Commerce host the Shop Hop on the firt Saturday of each month. Shop between 6 and 8 p.m. and 5 to 10 percent of the proceeds from participating merchants will benefit i-Tri. Restaurants will also offer special incentives. Parrish Art Museum Spring Fling
The Parrish Art Museum’s annual Spring Fling benefit party is always a highlight of the season. This community gathering and networking event takes place at the museum in Water Mill from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. For the first time, the event will feature an art detective scavenger hunt in the galleries, in addition to the silent auction.
