Video: Kim Kardashian's First Visit to the Hamptons

As the Hamptons community braces for the Kardashians to “take” us this summer, we can look back at Kim Kardashian‘s first visit to the East End on May 25, 2008.

This video was filmed at The Whitehouse in Hampton Bays on the eve of Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 2 finale. Kim Kardashian and then beau Reggie Bush hosted the nightclub’s season-opening “White Party,” which P. Diddy had moved to The Whitehouse, and hosted there, the previous summer. At the time, Kardashian said it was her first visit to the Hamptons, but rumors were swirling that she and stepbrother Brody Jenner were looking into summering here.

During the party itself, she wore a form fitting white dress by Herve Leger and spent the evening dancing with Bush, kissing for the cameras and hanging out in the raised VIP area, according to People magazine. She joked that she was pregnant and would be marrying Bush, but then added she really would enjoy marriage and children some day in the future. Of course that day has since come—with hubbies Kris Humphries, and now Kanye West and their baby North West.

The maker of this video, Newsday, notes, “The music was blaring, the drinks were flowing and Kim was hot!” The newspaper filmed Kardashian greeting fans graciously, cuddling with her dog and posing for pictures. At one point, she even has a chat with Lindsey Lohan‘s father, Michael Lohan.

Of course, Kim’s sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian will be the focus of this summer’s Kardashian occupation, as part of their new E! show Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons.

And much has changed in six years.
