Hilaria Baldwin Creates Hamptonite Line with Lexington Clothing Co.

Lexington Clothing Co. and Amagansett’s Hilaria Baldwin have teamed up to create a new Hamptonite Collection, which is also sponsoring Guild Hall in East Hampton.
Lexington, which opened its first American store in East Hampton back in spring of 2012, says they wanted to create a project that reflected the East End lifestyle and would give back to the area, which led them to sponsor Guild Hall. Of course it also doesn’t hurt that Hilaria’s famous husband Alec Baldwin has been a supporter of Guild Hall for years and he now presides over its Board of Trustees.
“Hilaria is a longtime Hamptonite and dedicates her time to generously supporting local nonprofits that preserve the community’s artistic traditions and cultural life,” announced Lexington Creative Director Kristina Lindhe, who worked on the project with Hilaria. “The collection reflects the casual fun of the summer months out in the Hamptons, from picnicking on the beach to cocktail parties at sunset,” Lindhe added.
For her part, Hilaria told Lexington that she enjoyed partnering with a company and designers who shared her appreciation of classic style and who would support Guild Hall. “I enjoyed working with Kristina sharing my ideas on a stylish weekend getaway package,” she said. “Our collaboration can take you from yoga to a summer dinner party.”
The line is full of casual and comfortable pieces, with soft, faded colors and names that relate to the Baldwin’s lives. For example, the “Alec” shirtdress is inspired by Hilaria’s tendency to wear her husband’s “lovingly worn shirts,” often during her pregnancy with daughter Carmen Gabriela Baldwin, who has a dress named after her in the line.
Lexington’s Lindhe also got the Kristina shirt named for her.
