Hamptons Dining Dish: Harbor Bistro, Little Red, Agave’s, More

Harbor Bistro in East Hampton serves an early-bird, prix fixe menu, Thursday through Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. for $19 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The menu changes regularly; some items may include: lobster bisque; mixed greens salad with grape tomatoes, radish and cucumbers with honey-balsamic dressing; orecchiette Bolognese with pancetta, tomato, porcini mushrooms, Parmesan and truffle oil; and the crispy kataifi-lobster bundle with citrus slaw, spiced sesame aioli and a Thai chili glaze. 631-324-7300, harborbistro.net 

Agave’s Tequila & Rum Bar in Westhampton Beach is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. Select menu items include: seared ahi tuna with soba noodles, coconut shrimp skewers and crispy fried mozzarella. Entrées include: San José spicy diver scallops, pan-seared and finished with white wine, olive oil, roasted peppers, vine-ripe tomatoes and vegetable stock served over seasoned rice; Yucatan spicy baby back ribs, dry-rubbed ribs glazed with honey, garlic, jalapeño, cumin and lime; and tuna bronceado, lightly blackened, pan-seared yellow fin tuna topped with our tropical mango salsa served over seasoned rice. 631-998-4200, agaveswhb.com

little|red in Southampton hosts burger night every Wednesday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Diners may enjoy the Bistro Burger Platter ($10)—a grilled bistro burger with pommes frites, lettuce, tomato, Vidalia onion and spicy bread and butter pickles. La Fondita in East Hampton is celebrating summer by introducing new menu items, daily specials and extended hours. They are now open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. New items include: the Mariachi mix, a vegetarian mix made with red peppers, poblano peppers, corn, mushrooms, black beans and chick peas. A new salad, called Ensalada Mariachi, is made with the Mariachi mix on iceberg lettuce with chipotle mayonnaise, chili powder and crisp corn tortilla strips.  631-267-8800, lafondita.net 

Harbor Grill in East Hampton serves bar bites Monday through Saturday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday beginning at noon. The special menu is available at the bar only. A beer list, composed of 40-plus brews, is also available including choices of Montauk Summer Ale, Dogfish Head and Stella Artois.
