Stopping in at Stitch Southampton this Friday evening, August 8, should be on the agenda for any Hamptons shopper. For the shop’s Midsummer Eve’s Soiree, customers who buy Same Sky jewelry will receive 10% off their entire purchase.

A Same Sky purchase is a charitable shopping choice, with “Employing to Empower” at the core of Same Sky’s mission. The company focuses on employing women in need in Rwanda and the United States to lift them out of poverty.

Job creation is the pride of Same Sky, as proceeds from jewelry sales directly benefit the employment and training of more employees. According to their website, samesky.com, Rwandan employees make 15 to 20 times the average wage in Sub Saharan Africa when working for Same Sky.

Their colorful, glass bead bracelets have become Same Sky’s trademark piece. The company also sells a variety of necklaces, earrings and even men’s cuff links and wraps.

Same Sky jewelry is a popular sight among Hamptons celebrities, with fans including Hillary Clinton, Barbara Walters, Donna Karen, Katie Couric and Gayle King.

Guests stopping by from 5 to 8 p.m. will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres, raffles and gift bags. Fashions from local Southampton designer Regina Kravitz and Indian scarves by Revival Style will also be on sale.
