'Winter Light: East End Artists' on View at Southampton Cultural Center
Works by more than a score of East End artists are featured in Winter Light, an exhibition on display now at Southampton Cultural Center.
Winter Light refers to a means to brighten the winter months with a variety of colorful and stimulating works. Abstraction, impressionism and representational approaches to 2- and 3-dimensional works are explored in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and sculpture. Motifs move through non-objective, abstract expression, nature, figuration, and landscape.
The artists are Shari Abramson, Calvin Albert, Marcel Bally, Monica Banks, Deborah Black, John Bell, Stephanie Brody-Lederman, Darlene Charneco, Pamela Collins Focarino, Josh Dayton,
Mary Daunt, A.G. Duggan, Carol Hunt, Tracy Jamar, Margaret Kerr, Christa Maiwald, Fulvio Massi, Roy Nicholson, Louise Peabody, Alexander Russo, Roseanne Schwab, Walter Schwab and
Dan Welden.

The gallery is open Monday through Saturday between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The opening reception will be Saturday, January 16, between 5 and 7 p.m.
