Hamptons Dining Dish: Fresh Hamptons, 668 The Gig Shack, Edgewater, Joe’s Garage and Grill

Here’s what’s hot in Hamptons dining this week.

Fresh Hamptons in Bridgehampton hosts pizza night every Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. Guests  can enjoy a three-course, build-your-own-pie dinner for $18, plus tax and gratuity. The menu includes a side Caesar salad to start, followed by a 12” organic whole-wheat pizza made with organic tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella. Dessert features a scoop of homemade gelato or sorbet. 668 The Gig Shack in Montauk is now serving lunch and dinner seven days a week. The kitchen is open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the bar stays open late. Popular menu selections include: spicy tuna tartare taquitos with toasted sesame seeds, avocado and micro greens ($11); seared local sea scallops with baby arugula salad, avocado, toasted sesame seeds and a warm soy vinaigrette ($18); blackened local fish Montacos with homemade mango salsa and creamy coleslaw in a crunchy corn tortilla ($18/24); and house-smoked Hawaiian-style baby back ribs with cornbread and cream coleslaw ($26). 631-668-2727. 668thegigshack.com.

Edgewater Restaurant in Hampton Bays serves dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. Appetizers include: fried calamari served with a spicy marinara and pesto aioli ($12); pan-seared yellowfin tuna—sesame seared sushi grade tuna, served rare and drizzled with a spicy sriracha aioli ($15); and charbroiled oysters with garlic, Parmesan, sriracha and herbs served with focaccia wedges ($14). Joe’s Garage and Grill in Riverhead offers a variety of daily specials. Monday is wing night—guests who buy one order of wings get another order for half-price after 7 p.m. Tuesday features two-for-one drink specials after 7 p.m. Wild West Wednesdays is a night of line dancing led by a country DJ beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday is ladies night and features half-priced drinks after 7 p.m., for ladies only. “Fuel tank” Saturdays features $7 draft beers in 21-ounce mugs after 7 p.m. and Sundays feature $12 beer flights.
