On Saturday, August 1, from 2 to 6 p.m. there will be a Polish festival for the Southampton community provided by the Southampton Historical Museum.
The festival will be held at Rogers Mansion, 17 Meeting House Lane in Southampton. Enjoy music, food and games.
The Klub Krawcow Polish Festival will open at 2 p.m. with Polish food and tango dancing, which is extremely popular in the large cities of Poland. Professional dancers will demonstrate and give lessons on the Polish-style Tango. A variety of Polish foods and beer will be available.
The Karkowska Sisters Duo will perform at 5 p.m. for a classical violin and piano rendition of Polish composers Chopin, Gorlecki and others. A social reception will follow the concert.
