The Hamptons season is in full swing with a long list of events and new products to keep us all entertained. Start things off right by getting in a good mindset with a bottle of one of the scents of the season—Always Red from Elizabeth Arden is très populaire among the party set! Another beach essential—gum. Unfortunately chewing gum has been shown to promote bloating (because of the excess air taken in), which is just about the last thing you want when you’re seaside. Naturally, no matter what your workout of choice when in the Hamptons, you’ll want to make sure to dress the part. Check out Brooks’ best-selling Adrenaline GTS women’s running shoe (, $130). In Westhampton Beach Ina Visich, a young fashion designer, has launched a line of dresses in various styles and displays them during her trunk shows at Unique Boutique on Saturdays from 4 to 7 p.m. (118 Main Street, Westhampton Beach). Besides the ready-to-wear line she makes custom clothing for every occasion.
