MIGHTY MONTAUK TRIATHLON
7 a.m. Founded in 1982 by the late Robert J. Aaron, this event consists of a 1-mile swim in Lake Montauk, a 22-mile bike ride and a 6.23-mile run. The triathlon is challenging and intense, but also a lot of fun! It’s also USAT sanctioned, for those who participate in runs and other events year-round. Throughout Montauk. mightymontauk.com
