Happy early Mother’s Day! (Relax. Mother’s Day is on May 8.) There are plenty of ways to show Mom a little love this weekend. Check out these great pampering experiences.

Wainscott chef Jeanne Cuddy-Peretz recently launched a blog called JeanneJournal that explores all things good—food, beauty, health and more. Cuddy-Peretz is best known as Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten’s “right hand.” She’s got her finger on the pulse of the latest trends in food and health, plus all things style. Check out her latest posts at jeannejournal.com to see what’s cooking.

Did somebody say prom season? If you’re looking for a full makeup and hair solution for the big day, check out John Dillon Salon. The salon is offering two prom specials: blowout and eye makeup costs only $100 (up or braided costs an additional $25) while full makeup with no hair styling costs $75. Looking for a great Mother’s Day gift? Why not schedule a massage with the salon’s day spa, or buy your mom a mani-pedi? She’ll look good, she’ll feel good, and she’ll have a very happy Mother’s Day. Find John Dillon Salon at 16 Hill Street in Southampton, or at johndillonsalonsh.com

Kempton and Co. has outfitted a 25-year-old British-made Land Rover for this summer’s Ultimate Trunk Show, a vagabonding mobile shop that will be making its way from Brooklyn to Montauk down Route 27. For sale are Kempton and Co.’s brand handbags and accessories, described as “bringing rugged luxe to an active lifestyle.” On June 7 join them at c/o The Maidstone in East Hampton for a unique shopping experience. If you miss the Maidstone stop, Kempton and Co. will also be making their way to Sunset Beach on Shelter Island. Visit kemptonandco.com for details.

On July 8 and July 9 from 12-6, beauty experts from Kevyn Aucoin, Dr. Dennis Gross, Bumble & bumble, Bobbi Brown, Tata Harper, and many more will be on hand to pamper, provide samples, and offer beauty advice. Join them on their special day and celebrate! White’s Apothecary, 18 Hampton Road, Southampton. 631-287-2900, whitesapothecary.com

New Kids on the Block:

Mandala Yoga Center for the Healing Arts has expanded! The Amagansett studio will now also occupy the old Bass shoe outlet space. Not only does this mean a more comprehensive schedule for yoga classes, but also the inclusion of a complete Healing Arts Center. The new space will also include a wellness apothecary shop and a retail space, offering a beautifully curated collection of items, from all over the world, for the home and for yourself. Mandala officially opens May 12, when the public is welcome to come by to enjoy a cup of tea and discover the new space. Find them at 156 Main Street, Amagansett. Learn more at mandalayoga.com

North Fork personal trainer Paige Romanowski will appear on The Dr. Oz Show later this week. Romanowski, who recently opened BodyRite, a new Jamesport training studio, stopped by the daytime talk show to discuss the benefits of a low-carb diet. Find out more about Romanowski’s training programs and read her fitness blog at bodyritetraining.com
