Gateway Playhouse is just “De-Lovely” this summer! Cole Porter’s classic musical comedy Anything Goes runs until June 4, starring Broadway vets Andrea McArdle as Reno Sweeney and Sally Struthers as Evangeline Harcourt. This production of Anything Goes is based on the Broadway revival, with a new book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman. Musical theater fans will love hearing hits like “You’re the Top,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow” and the rousing title song.

Million Dollar Quartet starts on June 8. This show tells the true story of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash performing together at Sun Records Studio in Memphis, Tennessee on December 4, 1956. With legendary songs like “Walk the Line,” “Hound Dog” and “Folsom Prison Blues,” Million Dollar Quartet plays through June 25.

For something completely different, check out Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at Patchogue Theatre on July 20. A musical adaptation of the beloved film, Priscilla tells the story of three “divas” on an adventure in a lavender bus. This colorful show is set to a score of pop songs like “It’s Raining Men,” “I Will Survive,” “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and more. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert runs through August 6.

Dancing with the Movies begins on August 10. Featuring celebrity pros from Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance and more, this dance extravaganza features recreations of memorable moments from films like Grease, Moulin Rouge, West Side Story and others. There are also dances choreographed to classic film scores, like The Godfather. Dancing with the Movies runs through August 14.

Closing out the summer season on August 24 is The Rocky Horror Show. This cult classic spawned an equally classic film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. A knock-down, “drag”-out send-up of science fiction films, The Rocky Horror Show tells the story of engaged couple Brad and Janet who stumble upon the house of transvestite scientist Dr. Frank ’N’ Furter, who is about to unleash his creation, the stunningly handsome but dumb Rocky. In addition to everyone’s fave “Time Warp,” Rocky Horror includes hits like “Damn it Janet,” “Sweet Transvestite” and “Science Fiction/Double Feature.” The Rocky Horror Show runs through September 10 at The Gateway Playhouse.

Gateway Playhouse is located at 215 South Country Road, Bellport. Patchogue Theatre is located at 71 East Main Street, Patchogue. For tickets and more information, go to thegateway.org.
