Skinnygirl vs. Tipsy Girl on 'Real Housewives of NYC'

Don’t mess with an angry Skinnygirl.

Hamptonite Bethenny Frankel had…words for Sonja Morgan on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City regarding Morgan’s new Tipsy Girl prosecco venture. Feeling that Morgan had deliberately started a business that sounded similar to Frankel’s Skinnygirl brand, Frankel invited Morgan to her office, where she berated her “friend” in front of all her assistants. Morgan seemed genuinely hurt and surprised by Frankel’s harsh words, even starting to cry when Frankel began to list all of Morgan’s failed business ventures.

Things quieted down when Morgan expressed how shocked she was that Frankel felt this way, and seemed to elicit some sympathy from Frankel when mentioning that she truly thought Frankel would like Tipsy Girl. “I thought you’d be like, ‘let me try your prosecco, let me tell you what I think.’”

Well, Frankel certainly told Morgan what she thought.
