Dan's Best of the Best 2016 Winners!
What does it take to be the best? In the Hamptons and on the North Fork, it takes a particular dedication to excellence, a desire to deliver the best of everything to a discerning group of residents and visitors alike who love the East End. Dan’s Papers has always celebrated the best the Hamptons and the North Fork have to offer, and nowhere is that celebration bigger than in the Dan’s Best of the Best competition.
The 2016 Dan’s Best of the Best, presented by Bridgehampton National Bank (BNB), drew a massive turnout of voters sharing their picks for who should be honored among the best businesses, nonprofits, professionals and personalities on the East End. Of the thousands of nominees who vied for recognition in some 400 categories, it was you, the Dan’s Papers readers, who told us who leads the pack in the Hamptons and on the North Fork.
Each year we award Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze level honors to the top vote-getters in each category on both forks, and in many cases the voting went right down to the wire. In fact, some races were so close that we had to call a few ties.
Every one of this year’s winners is invited to come collect their coveted Dan’s Best of the Best certificates during our annual awards celebration party, which, for the fourth consecutive year, will be held at the historic Suffolk Theater in Riverhead. The party promises to be an evening to remember filled with food and drink and plenty of congratulations. And, of course, the handing out of the Best of the Best awards—which winners can proudly display for all to see in their windows, on their walls, in advertisements or wherever they decide. The 2016 celebration party, held exclusively for our winners, is on Friday, November 11.
But the fun doesn’t end there. Following the awards ceremony will be the Dan’s Papers Best of the Best Celebration Concert open to the public and headlined by planet’s mightiest mashup band, New Life Crisis as we celebrate their induction into the Dan’s Best of the Best Hall of Fame!

Tickets for Dan’s Papers Best of the Best Celebration Concert on Friday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m. at Suffolk Theater in Riverhead are $25 for general admission in advance, $40 at the door. VIP Admission is also available, which includes reserved table seating for four people in the VIP Balcony, waitress service and exclusive VIP gift bag with a bottle of local wine. (Please note that the VIP Balcony is not handicapped accessible. With advanced notice, we are happy to make special accommodations as needed.)
