Tuesday Club

History was made this week, as East Hampton Village Mayor Paul Rickenbach, Jr.’s Tuesday Club met on a Friday (February 8). This month’s guest speaker was Duncan Darrow, founder and chairman of Fighting Chance in Sag Harbor, the free (and anonymous, if you like) cancer counseling center that provides patients a helping hand in a caring, stress-reducing environment, starting at the moment of diagnosis. Darrow spoke about major new discoveries in the battle against cancer, and proudly announced Fighting Chance’s major role at the new Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Phillips Family Cancer Center on County Road 39 in Southampton. www.fightingchance.org
