Mashomack Preserve on Shelter Island has postponed the annual Earth Day celebration and all other events through April 30. For the rescheduling dates, go to the Nature Conservancy website at www.nature.org or email MashomackPreserve@tnc.org.

The Shelter Island Library suggests that while we are all staying at home, if the community could help with a project. Its staff is asking for the community to submit a favorite recipe and a story to go with it to be included in its new cookbook.
