Have you ever briefly locked eyes with someone at the airport only to know that you’ll never see them again? Well, next time you’re at Palm Beach International Airport, you might just have better luck at turning the moment into something more.

A study conducted by DatingAdvice asked 3,000 single travelers about what they thought was the most romantic airport. The results, which are ranked from 1 to 100, concluded that Palm Beach International is the best place to find a potential love connection.

“Airports can be heady places for romance,” says Amber Brooks, senior editor at DatingAdvice. “There’s an endless stream of people coming and going, hopefully off on an adventure, and the potential for talking to someone new is high.”

Orlando International secured second place, with Fort Lauderdale trailing behind in third. The fourth and fifth place awards go to Tampa International and O’Hare International. Rounding out the list as the 100th worst airport for love was Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey, Idaho.

The respondents were also asked what the best scenario is for meeting that special someone. Nearly half — 47% — said it was being seated next to them on the flight. Another 30% said it was getting delayed and bonding over the inconvenience.

Apparently 31% of respondents have flirted with strangers at the airport, and 20% said they would change their travel plans for an airport crush. It seems that Palm Beach International might be the place for those seeking extra excitement on their journey — though you might want to brace for potential delays.
