NYC Elite Among 3,000 Shark Attack Sounds Partiers in Montauk
Attracting more than 3,000 revelers, the 11th annual Shark Attack Sounds party at the Montauk Yacht Club last Friday was nothing short of a success for its three hosts, including A-list photographer Ben Watts, event planner Jeffrey Jah and Milk Studios co-founder Mazdack Rassi.
Much like the rest of the Hamptons over Fourth of July weekend, the scene was packed with celebrities, fashion designers, model reps and elite publicists. The party, which benefited the Montauk Playhouse, started around 6 p.m. and lasted well into the early morning hours.
Some of the hottest party goers included, New York nightlife guru Nur Khan, rapper Theophilus London, designer Johan Lindeberg, Thierry “Mr. Brainwash” Guetta, designer/actor Waris Ahluwalia, model mogul Scott Lipps and two-time Olympic gold medalist snowboarder, Shaun White—who arrived sporting his signature red hair unrecognizably short.
Powerful publicists Kelly Brady, Steve Kasuba, Alan Rish and Simon Huck were also in attendance, and gallery owner Helly Nahmad made his own statement by rolling up with several beautiful women and Leonardo DiCaprio’s bodyguard.
DJs Chelsea Leyland, Zen Freeman and Carl Kennedy tore up the music scene, and a lot of neon, patriotism and drinking also helped fuel the rager through the evening. From lace to polos, the fashion was a sight to see, and noted as such by Women’s Wear Daily.
Cheers to another successful Shark Attack Sounds party in the Hamptons. If this event gets any bigger, it will have to be at Deep Hollow Ranch in 2014!
