'All the for Bays' Benefit Concert Planned July 31 in Hampton Bays
The East Quogue Chamber of Commerce is holding a concert at the end of the month to benefit the Southampton Town Trustee Bay Replenishment Fund. The “All for the Bays” concert aims to save the bays with a little rock ’n’ roll at the beach.
“Our waters are what make our area so magical,” says Donna Lanzetta of the East Quogue Chamber. “The Southampton Trustees have shown serious commitment to replenishing and regenerating our bays. This concert is awareness raising as well as fundraising. 100% of the proceeds is going to our waterways.”
“If we take care of our waters we preserve our livelihoods,” says Micah Schlendorf, the president of the Hamptons Visitors Council and managing director at SCNB. “The bays are important to our economy but, beyond that, they are the ecosystems for our future generations.”
All for the Bays is supported by the Hamptons Visitors Council, the Town of Southampton and the Southampton Town Trustees. The event will be hosted by radio personality Bonnie Grice and will star Rick Derringer, LA Woman and Dub Steady.
An exclusive pre-concert meet-and-greet with the concert’s musical guests will be held at Dockers on Dune Road in East Quogue. Snag one of these limited tickets and enjoy music, food, an open bar and the chance to chat with a legend.
The All for the Bays benefit concert will be held on Thursday, July 31, at 7 p.m. on Ponquogue Beach (rain location is the Boardy Barn). General admission is $20. VIP admission is $200. All tickets are available at eventbrite.com.
