This Montauk institution has offered fresh, handmade fudge and chocolates made daily on the premises for more than 30 years. They make delicious fudge and chocolate, old fashioned milkshakes, fresh-spun cotton candy, ice cream and a range of gorgeous gummies. Fudge N’ Stuff even has piñatas and gift baskets for parties and special occasions! Cult classic, Dylan’s Candy Bar (52 Main Street East Hampton; 631-324-6181, dylanscandybar.com) earned the 2016 Gold award, moving up two slots from winning Bronze in 2015. This sweet lover’s paradise sells some of the most creative candies around, as well as an entire line of their own chocolates. Try the Maple Waffle Crisp, Cookies and Cream or S’Mores chocolate bars, Dylan’s signature Chocolate Tackle Box or the giant cupcake filled with chocolate bakery mix! The Candied Anchor (721 Main Street, Montauk; 631-668-8038, candiedanchor.com) received the Silver award. Located in the heart of Montauk, this is a 1950s style sweet shop with a modern twist. The selection is sure to delight even the most stubborn sweet tooth. Stop by and you will find party supplies, baked confections, ice cream, retro gifts, and all of the candy a person could want. Try chocolately goodies baked by Dawn Rennar—owner of Dawn’s Delicious Delights—including her famous brownies, homemade marshmallows, pies in a jar and adorable decorated sugar cookies. The Candied Anchor also makes custom cookies or treats for any event, including Halloween.
