When beachhouse opened its doors in East Hampton earlier this season, Executive Chef Dennis J. Farrell was ready to serve the Hamptons dining scene a chic new spin on steak and seafood, with dishes ranging from Lobster Glazed Seared Local Sea Scallops over Truffle Sweet Cream Corn to a dry-aged Cowboy Ribeye. As he prepares to join other top chefs from the East End at the Dan’s Taste of Two Forks event on July 16 in Bridgehampton, he tells us he’s ready for “a night of dishes and company” like no other. We are, too!
Your Favorite Dish at Beachhouse… My favorite dish at beachhouse is Sauteed Clams & Grilled Hot Sausage! It is the perfect summer dish because of its blend of tomatoes in white wine and garlic cilantro brono!
The Perfect Drink for a Warm Summer Night… beachhouse’s mojito!
Food That Defines Summer on Long Island… Sea Bass defines summer on LI, and beachhouse has a Local White Sea bass Meuniere with confit leeks and parsnip pomme puree that is magnificent!
If you had two forks in your hand right now, what would you like to stick them in… Well.. I’d stick them in Montauk Pearls. They are oysters cultivated in Montauk—very tasty!
The World Ends Tomorrow. Your Last Meal Would Be… If the world ends tomorrow my last meal would be a Grilled Lobster with East End corn and lots of lemon and butter.
The Perfect Meal Is… Simple and tasty!
Dan’s Taste of Two Forks is Saturday, July 16, in Sayre Park in Bridgehampton, NY. For more information on Dan’s Taste of Two Forks and to purchase tickets, click here.
