Powering Around the Forks with Surfside 3

“I think it’s important to show the customers that we’re fully committed. It’s not just about selling or delivering a boat, but meeting the highest standards,” Matthew Levy, Sales Manager for the Hampton Bays location says.

Surfside 3 has provided services to over three generations of East End Boaters and vacationers offering a variety of different amenities at their locations in Westhampton, Hamptons Bays, and Cutchogue. Their gas dock and service area located in Westhampton has been serving the East End since 1967, provides access to Moriches and Shinnecock Bays and Inlets, and also eases fueling and simplifies servicing their customers, while the Mattituck location offers access to the waters from Wading River, Orient Point, and everywhere in between, while welcoming customers with a large indoor boat show room. Hampton Bays located on the world famous Shinnecock Canal, provides accessibility and services for boats of any size. Their four-acre facility boasts a 50-slip marina capable of handling up to 60-foot vessels while providing full time service floats, and dual fueling stations. Each location offers additional services including dockage, winterization and boat storage.

With their three locations throughout the East End of Long Island, Surfside 3 delivers the ultimate “boating dream.” Surfside 3 has become one of the most efficient and skilled boat service departments in the New York Area. Their establishment offers a variety of leading boat retails including being a proud ambassador dealer for Sea Ray, Sailfish Boats, Southwind and a wide variety of pre-owned boats. Surfside 3 is also an affiliate dealer of Marine Max – the nation’s number one boat retailers and they can offer customers exclusive benefits available only through a national network of boat dealers, while maintaining its local role as Long Island’s East End boating services.

“We covered the midstream of the Island, North shore, East shore, South shore,” Levy says, offering their customers every section of Long Island’s waters. Most importantly, the staff of Surfside 3 focuses primarily on the importance of customer service. Each staff member earns a certification as an ambassador dealer, which is Sea Ray’s most prestigious, and most highly qualified, dealership status providing their customers with nothing but the best in knowledgeable service. “Our staff goes through a trigon administrative process through sales, and services. We need to get good customer feedback in all areas to meet top percentile; we need to hit the top 5% to even qualify to be certified,” says Matt Levy.

Surfside 3’s knowledgeable staff are also required to participate in factory training to keep them up-to-date in essential boat maintenance and repair certifications to fully accommodate their guests, making them skilled professionals. From sports boats, to yachts, Surfside 3 offers a variety of different programs to make sure their customers feel completely comfortable in venturing out into the big blue sea.

“We’ve got about 45 years of boating experience out here on long island – we know everything there is to know about the area,” said Matthew Levy. Levy and his team offer a “Launch and Learn Program” that provides a detailed lesson on the operation of the new craft by a “boating captain” who takes the time to ensure that new boat owners understand how to operate their new vessel. Levy explains.

“This is probably one of the most important things because it allows them to feel comfortable, and to get them over their fear. We’ll aide them to places they want to go so they understand the way, and where to go. We’re a complete luxury business and we want to make sure our customers are fully provided for in every way.” Levy says.
