Is Tutto Il Giorno Opening in Tribeca?

Tribeca Citizen reported a rumor on Friday that Gabby Karan De Felice and Gianpaolo De Felice may be launching a new restaurant at 114 Franklin Street in Manhattan‘s Tribeca neighborhood.

The rumor was “presented as fact,” according to the Citizen, which notes that the owners of Tribeca Greek restaurant Thalassa was supposed to be opening an Italian eatery there. Perhaps the new spot will be a joint effort between the owners of both restaurants? If the De Felices do indeed start a new venture there by September, as the story says, it seems likely to be a Manhattan expansion of their popular Tutto Il Giorno restaurants in Sag Harbor and Southampton.
