Paul McCartney Reissues "Wings Over America" Album

Amagansett resident and rock legend Paul McCartney is releasing an updated reissue of his 1976 Wings album Wings over America later this month. This latest reissue in the Paul McCartney Archive Collection will be available on iTunes and through Amazon.com as a Deluxe Edition box with a variety of supplemental materials.
The boxed Deluxe Edition, available on May 28, comes with three CDs of music, including the original 28-track album on 2 discs remastered at Abbey Road Studios and eight previously unreleased bonus audio tracks recorded live at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. It will also include the 75-minute Wings Over The World TV special on DVD, all set within a numbered hardbound slipcase.
The case also comes with a 112-page book written by David Fricke featuring new interviews and extensive tour photography; LOOK!, an exclusive 60-page photographic journal of Linda McCartney‘s images of life on the road; a 136-page replica tour book with itineraries, tour program, memorabilia and lyrics, plus three (10 x8 ) prints. The set will also come with The Ocean View, an 80-page book of drawings by artist Humphrey Ocean.
All songs are remastered with 24bit 96kHz high resolution audio, including the eight bonus tracks, which are accessed via a download code inserted on a card within the Wings over America Deluxe Edition package.
The reissued Wings over America will be available on Amazon.com on Tuesday, May 28.
