Alec Baldwin Stars in Woody Allen’s New Film "Blue Jasmine"

Amagansett’s favorite actor Alec Baldwin stars in the new film, Blue Jasmine, written and directed by comedy legend Woody Allen.
Scheduled for release on July 26, Baldwin stars with Cate Blanchett, award-winning comedian and actor Louis C.K., Third Watch star Bobby Cannavale, comedian Andrew Dice Clay, Happy-Go-Lucky film star Sally Hawkins and indie fave Peter Sarsgaard, who recently appeared in the premiere episode of AMC’s third season of The Killing.
Sony Pictures Classics acquired the North American distribution rights and only hints that it is “the story of the final stages of an acute crisis and a life of a fashionable New York housewife.” Allen visited the Hamptons to film parts of the movie last summer and dined at Quogue’s Docker’s.
With the film release so near, it’s unusual that Allen has not released a trailer, but a few images have been made available. Get a sneak peek below.
