Donna Karan Brings Some Flare to Bridgehampton's Enclave Inn

Designer Donna Karan and her daughter Gabby Karan De Felice are tackling new ground with their recent purchase of the Enclave Inn in Bridgehampton.
Once owned by Martha Stewart’s daughter Alexis, the Bridgehampton property was most recently in the hands of Michael Wudyka, who put the Inn on the market in February 2012 with an asking price of $2.69 million.

The Enclave Inn sits on 11.5 acres with 10 rooms, a pool and room for tennis. Karan and De Felice have major plans for renovations to transform the Inn into a chic modern hotel. Work is set to begin this fall and should be completed by the spring of 2014.
Karan will add her own flare to the project by being highly involved in the renovation and redesign process. It’s clearly not the most high-end of Hamptons accommodations, but a sophisticated eye can understand why Karan sees potential in the Inn’s funky spaces.
The mother-daughter duo has quite the eye when it comes to Hamptons real estate. Karan has four adjacent beachfront homes in East Hampton, creating a compound worth approximately $20 million. De Felice owns Sag Harbor, Southampton and Tribeca hotspot Tutto Il Giorno.
These ladies seem to know what’s what when it comes to Hamptons real estate, so be sure to book your room far in advance as this project is bound for success.
