Yet another Hamptons business is closing shop after decades of service to the local community.

Southampton Stationary is closing after 43 years selling pens, paper, office supplies, cards and gifts. The store’s owners, Herbert and Rosemary Jannsen, sent out a letter last week inviting area residents to take advantage of their closing sale, which began for early birds on Thursday, July 11 and continued through the weekend.

The family business has been a staple of Southampton for four decades, but the Jannsens decided it is time to retire.

We wish them well and encourage anyone who can to see what’s left at Southampton Stationary, which is even selling its fixtures and displays.

Say goodbye at 18 Hampton Road in Southampton. Or call them at 631-283-1964.
