Alec Baldwin and Jimmy Fallon: Point Pleasant Police Department

Fellow Hamptonites and NBC hosts Alec Baldwin and Jimmy Fallon put together a pretty perfect picture of the Point Pleasant Police Department on the Monday episode of Fallon’s Late Night.
The two funnymen looked back at their 80s cop show, Point Pleasant Police Department, featuring their characters eating pumpkin pie, Planters Peanuts, Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb and other peculiar and palatable possibilities. The result was preserved in perpetuity in the video below. Prepare for a real side-splitter, a panic, if you please.
As Baldwin and Fallon say, things tended to get a little messy on the police sitcom. Scroll down and see for yourself.
Along with getting to shower Fallon in EZ cheese, soda and pie, Baldwin was on Late Night to promote his new film Seduced and Abandoned, about two friends, Baldwin and director James Toback, on a “troublesome and often hilarious journey of raising financing for their next feature film” at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. The film goes behind the curtain and reveals the inner workings of the film industry and Cannes, specifically. The movie also features Hamptons visitor Ryan Gosling and legendary filmmakers Martin Scorsese, Roman Polanski and Francis Ford Coppola, among many others.
On Monday, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon also welcomed Kevin Connolly of Entourage to discuss his new NY Islanders documentary Big Shot, and Chris Cornell and the Avett Brothers, who performed “Footsteps” for Pearl Jam Week.
Now watch Baldwin and Fallon get gross. We all know that’s why you’re here.
