Christie Brinkley Chats About Her Africa Trip on 'The View'

Bridgehampton supermodel and actress Christie Brinkley and daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook were guests on The View Tuesday to discuss their recent trip to Africa and their advocacy for stopping the poaching of elephants and rhinoceroses for ivory and horns.
They sat with co-hosts Jenny McCarthy, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd and guest co-host Jesse Ventura, the former wrestler and former governor of Minnesota.
“Don’t ever buy anything made out of ivory,” Brinkley said.
“It’s not worth it,” added Sailor.
” You need to tell, and spread the word and let everybody know, because elephants are such sensitive and loving creatures,” Brinkley said.
Brinkley also discussed her daughter’s new modeling career. “She’s as smart as she is gorgeous,” Brinkley said.
