We Hamptonites love our Starbucks. But are we getting the most of their oddly sized drinks?

Ordering a creative Starbucks beverage can be fun, but with so many options it can also be a bit daunting. Though it’s usually easier to just order from the listed lattes, fraps, juices and hot drinks, it can be tough to ignore all the à la carte choices and ingredients.

By now most people have seen the “most expensive Starbucks drink” or “Quadriginoctuple Frap,” which one intrepid customer devised and bought for $47.30 in February of this year (watch video below). But was it good? Probably not. Was it fun to order? Definitely.

So, how do we enjoy the fun of Starbucks’ à la carte menu, but actually get to enjoy the beverage we create? Starbucks Secret Menu is the answer and your ultimate (unofficial) online resource for creative Starbucks combos “created for Starbucks fans by Starbucks fans.” Located at, this site is loaded with dozens and dozens of drink recipes using only what’s available on the Starbucks menu. As the site says, it’s “a collection of beverage creations that have been skillfully concocted by Starbucks baristas and connoisseurs from all around the world.” Just make sure to order by recipe, not by name (though some may be popular enough that your local barista will know them).
