Quack the Halls! Annual Big Duck Lighting Is Thursday

Flanders’ annual tradition of decorating the famed Big Duck for the holidays continues this Thursday, December 5, as the community gathers for the duck lighting ceremony.

Musicians will perform and Santa Claus and the Long Island Ducks mascot Quaker Jack will visit.

The event is sponsored by Friends of the Big Duck.

The Big Duck is located at Route 24 in Flanders. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m.

Then on Friday, join Stony Brook Southampton in Shinnecock Hills for the annual Lighting of the Windmill.
