Brian De Palma, the director of such films as Scarface, Carrie and Mission: Impossible, is a new resident of East Hampton’s Pantigo Road, according to the New York Post.
The Post reports De Palma has purchased the house at 82 Pantigo Road for $2.95 million. Zillow.com states that the property last changed hands in 2006, when it fetched a price of $3.20 million. The Post says it was listed for $3.295 million before the most recent transaction.
Kelly O’Halloran, of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, brokered the deal.
De Palma gave an interview to The New York Times from East Hampton in August about his filmmaking.
