Shop 'til You Drop: End of Summer Must-Haves on the East End
Make your last weekend of the official summer season a good one with a trip out to The End. The lifestyle driven, eco-fashion brand Amour Vert will be hosting a pop-up shop at Ruschmeyer’s in Montauk through Labor Day, September 1. Stock up on smart fashion before you head back to school or work. For every Amour Vert tee purchased, a tree is planted in partnership with American Forests. Ruschmeyer’s is located at 161 Second House Road in Montauk.
Blame it on years of going by the academic calendar, but to me, the start of September always feels like the start of a new year. For East Enders, the whirlwind of summer insanity begins to slowly settle, and with less traffic on my morning commute that means I have time in the morning to pack a lunch. With my new Sachi Insulated Fashion Handbag (aka lunch box), my lunch and snacks are effectively kept hot or cold, as desired, and I don’t have to risk compromising my look by carrying something like a plastic bag. Check out the many stylish and fun options at sachi-bags.com.
Always a fan of trying new makeup products, I was thrilled with Eyeko’s “wedding season must-haves,” which included Eyeko’s Hydrogel Eye Patches (de-puffing, brightening, firming), Brow Liner, Visual Eyes Liquid Eyeliner and Sport Mascara. I especially loved the brow liner’s super-thin waterproof precision brush and the curved shape of the mascara wand. As it turns out, it was my sister’s wedding this past weekend and thanks to Eyeko, my eye makeup stayed in place even as tears of joy ran down my cheeks. Find yours at sephora.com.
