Just 30 days remain before the start of America’s annual beardfest to raise cancer awareness, No-Shave November. As men around the country prepare to spend a month without shaving and enjoy the shaggy look, we celebrate facial follicles and countdown our favorite East End beardsman, from history and today. Let’s hope these hairy heroes help get you in the mood.

The second East Ender on the countdown is none other than local Congressman, Southampton resident and longtime beardsman Tim Bishop.

A U.S. Representative for New York’s 1st Congressional District since 2003, this hirsute Democrat has been sporting whiskers since the very start of his career, representing his local constituents and bearded men everywhere. Such is Bishop’s dedication to his unwavering face mane, you’d be hard pressed to find a picture of him without it.
