Renée Zellweger Selling Reportedly Haunted East Hampton House

Actress Renée Zellweger has listed the East Hampton residence she bought back in 2003—a home that is allegedly haunted by a poltergeist.
In 2003, the New York Post reported that a previous owner, Manhattan furniture designer John Mascheroni, said the spirit of an elderly woman resided there.
“She loved to play tricks,” Mascheroni told the Post. He lived there from 1974 to 1982 and identified the poltergeist as the ghost of past owner Lillian Worthington.
The 0.91-acre gated property features a 2,000-square-foot renovated farmhouse with four bedrooms and three baths and a two-car garage with a loft, plus a new gunite pool, according to the Douglas Elliman listing.
The asking price is $4,450,000.
