Renée Zellweger Quickly Sells East Hampton Home

Actress Renée Zellweger closed Friday on the sale of her East Hampton pad, which was asking $4.45 million.
Zellweger bought the house in 2003 and listed it just last month.
Located at 30 Egypt Lane, the property was listed with Linda Haugevik of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
The 0.91-acre gated property features a 2,000-square-foot renovated farmhouse with four bedrooms and three baths and a two-car garage with a loft, plus a new gunite pool—and, allegedly, a poltergeist.
In 2003, the New York Post reported that a previous owner, Manhattan furniture designer John Mascheroni, said the spirit of an elderly women resided there.
In other Celebrity Real Estate news, socialite Janna Bullock has listed her two Southampton Village estates, according to the New York Daily News. The pricier one, at 210 Meadow Lane, is going for $29 million, and 2170 Meadow Lane is available for $22 million.
