‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ Comes to Netflix

Director Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street, which was set, in part, in the Hamptons, hit Netflix streaming this week.

The 2013 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie and Matthew McConaughey is based on the memoir of the same name by Jordan Belfort, who owned a Westhampton Beach mansion before going to prison.

Filmmakers used a Sands Point mansion to stand-in for Belfort’s actual Westhampton Beach mansion, which they scouted while looking for filming locations.

Fun fact: The Wolf of Wall Street uses the F-word more times than any other narrative film in history.
