Amazon Studios have developed a pilot episode for a series based on I’m Dirty! and I’m Dirty & I Stink, the children’s books by author and illustrator team Kate McMullan and Jim McMullan, of Sag Harbor.

The show, aimed at preschoolers, is titled The Stinky & Dirty Show, featuring the voices of Jacob Guenther and Ethan Walker.

Amazon Studios says The Stinky & Dirty Show is about, “The adventures of best friends and unlikely heroes, Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader, a dynamic and hilarious duo of resourcefulness that learn that when things don’t go as expected, asking ‘what if’ can lead to success.”

The pilot episode was released January 15 as part of Amazon Studios’ Pilot Season, in which numerous pilots for a variety of shows are released for free, with the most successful shows being picked up for a season.

The series was written and developed by Guy Toubes.
