The South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center announced Monday that its inaugural holiday toy drive was successful in helping many Bridgehampton families in need.

New and gently-used unwrapped toys that were donated at SoFo were then provided to The First Church of God in Christ, The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, and the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton—all located on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor turnpike—for distribution to families.

“SoFo is committed to giving back to the East End community, and we are extremely grateful that we were able to work with our members and supporters to help make this a very special holiday season for our community,” said SoFo executive director Frank Quevedo.

SoFo Director of Education Carol Crasson ready to distribute toys from SoFo’s first Holiday Toy Drive to the Rev. Dr. H. G. McGhee, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton and church members, Francine Hopson and Thelma L. Harris.
