Revenge has introduced a ton of new characters this season, so we thought we’d make like Nolan and dig up some dirt on some of the recently added cast members. Here are a few interesting facts about five newcomers.

Gina Torres (Natalie Waters)
-Starred or appeared in several beloved TV series, including Firefly and Suits
-Married to iconic actor Laurence Fishburne since 2002
-Nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Guest Starring Role on Television for her work on Hannibal, in which she plays one half of a married couple with real-life husband Fishburne

Brian Hallisay (Ben Hunter)
-Born on Halloween, 1978
-Graduated from Cornell with a degree in Economics and History in 2000
-Played the ex-husband of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character on The Client List—the two actors later married

Elena Satine (Louise Ellis Ross)
-Born in Georgia (the country, not the state) to a house of nobility, “House of Orbeliani”
-Performed in the Georgian kids’ pop group Nergebi when she was 5
-Played the role of Mary Jane Watson in an early workshop production of the notorious Broadway flop Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark

Karine Vanasse (Margaux LeMarchal)
-Has been a well-known performer in French-Canadian TV and film since she was a teenager
-Starred in the short-lived period piece Pan Am, which aired in the ABC timeslot currently held by Revenge
-Won a Genie Award (the Canadian film and television award) for her role in Polytechnique, based on the true story of a 1989 massacre in which 14 women were killed at École Polytechnique de Montreal

Carolyn Hennesy (Penelope Ellis)
-Daughter of Oscar-winning art director Dale Hennesy
-Author of a series of children’s books based on the mythical Pandora
-Wrote a tie-in novel for daytime soap General Hospital, which her character “authored”
