Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart Go South of the Border
Water Mill homeowner Jennifer Lopez has continued to deny rumors of her rekindled romance with hunky 28-year-old dancer and ex-bf Casper Smart, but the pair is looking more and more like a couple.
According to an E! News report Monday, Lopez and Smart, along with her twins, Emme and Max, left Los Angeles in Smart’s truck on Saturday morning, two wave runners in tow, and made for the border. The totally-not-a-couple stopped just once for gas on the way down to a small resort town near Ensenada, Mexico, where they spent Easter weekend together.
Smart, who appeared to know the area well, enjoyed time on the water with pals, while Lopez stayed inside and played with her twins, E! News reports, noting that the “very good friends” remained in Mexico for Smart’s birthday, though how they celebrated on the actual day is a mystery.
Of course on March 29, one week before his 28th, Smart showed off his birthday present to himself—a brand new white Mercedes E63S AMG with carbon fiber trim—on Facebook.
While both Smart and Lopez maintain that they have not gotten back together, even after they were seen kissing before an American Idol shoot in late March, it’s clear something a little more friendly than friendship is happening there, even if it is just a few errant smooches and vacations with the kids.
And now that summer is taking shape, the Hamptons might be a perfect place for another secret getaway where good buddies and old pals can enjoy each other’s company and the beach in relative privacy.
