USA network’s Royal Pains is now in the Hamptons to film scenes for the seventh and eighth seasons of the series about a concierge doctor.
Mark Feuerstein stars as Dr. Hank Lawson and Paulo Costanzo plays his brother a business partner, Evan. Dr. Lawson caters to wealthy Hamptons denizens, but also provides pro bono care for those who struggle to access quality health care.
A number of Hamptons locals will be featured in the new season as well. That’s because Hamptons local Grant Wilfley and his casting agency were asked to find extras once again for the scenes shot on the East End.
Extras were needed April 22 through 24, according to a casting call.
Yellow signs with arrows and the letters “RP” appeared on utility poles around Southampton to direct the Royal Pains crew to staging areas and filming locations. Craft services is located at Southampton Arts Center on Jobs Lane.
Royal Pains returns to cable June 2, broadcasting Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on USA.
