The trainer to stars like Jennifer Lopez will be personally teaching in her East Hampton studio during the intensive course, which takes place from July 23 – 26. In addition to two hours of classes a day there will be a daily one-hour health-related lecture.

Also out here now is Madame Paulette’s VIP Traveling Unit, a Mercedes sprinter here to fix all of our sartorial logistical woes. Now we don’t have to worry about stains, rips or hem length issues, as they’ll clean and press, have on-site tailors, and have destination valet to pick up dry-cleaning.

Marie France Van Damme (, a resort and ready-to-wear collection will be showcasing their wears at L’Objet a La Plage (9 Main Street, Southampton), from July 11 to 12.

Garnet Hill Seasonal Store has just opened in Bridgehampton (2424 Main Street). Never forget your sunblock, and for the little ones Kiss My Face has just launched Kids Defense Mineral Air Powered Spray Lotion SPF 30 (Provisions, Bay and Division Street, Sag Harbor, $19.99). Speaking of summer entertaining, one of the founders of Crumbs Bake Shop, the famous cupcake bakery, has just launched a new brand, Liqs Shots (, which sells portable, ready-made cocktail shots ($9.99 for a three-pack). The four signature flavors are: Tequila Cinnamon Orange, Vodka Cucumber Lime, Vodka Lychee Grapefruit and Vodka Kamikaze, each of which has between 80 and 120 calories (for 50ml), and uses 45-proof vodka or 55-proof tequila.

Keep the little ones preoccupied with a pair of adorable, interactive shoes from Fayvel ($50). The brand stocks the first-ever vegan sneaker for kids, and the sneakers come with customizable hand-drawn Frieze Tags. The idea is that kids with the same shoes can trade the Velcro patches—making memories and inspiring creativity. The shoes are available in two styles, one with laces and one without, and in four colorways for kids three to nine.
