The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will host its World Cinema series this month featuring some of the best new films from around the globe.

Andrew Botsford, a Quogue resident and visiting professor at Stony Brook Southampton, will introduce new films each Tuesday night. After the viewing Botsford, who is also co-host of the annual Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival, will chat with guest commentators and discuss the film following into an informal audience discussion.

The films will then screen again, sans Botsford, on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The World Cinema series will feature the best art house, foreign, independent and documentary films that run concurrently at the most prominent film houses in New York City.

The movies on tap are About EllyDior and IThe Farewell Party and Gueros.
