To close out Southampton Arts Center’s weekly outdoor summer film series, Jaws will be screened Friday, September 4, on the center’s grounds, presented by Hamptons International Film Festival and sponsored by Dan’s Papers.
When a gigantic great white shark begins to menace the small island community of Amity, a police chief, a marine scientist and grizzled fisherman set out to stop it. Steven Spielberg directs and the film stars Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss.
The screening will take place on the grounds of the Southampton Arts Center at 25 Jobs Lane in Southampton Village. Bring a blanket or beach chairs and a picnic to enjoy the film with your friends and family.
The movie will begin around 8:30 p.m.
