On Saturday, East Hampton’s Jerry Seinfeld returned to the announcers’ booth at Citi Field to help call the Mets baseball game.

With Gary Cohen and Sag Harbor’s Keith Hernandez, Seinfeld reflected on an excellent season for the Mets, who clinched the National League Eastern Division and will play in the postseason for the first time since 2006.

“Jerry, I know you are the world’s greatest Mets fan,” Cohen remarked. “This season has got to be just nirvana for you.”

Seinfeld agreed and said the team has been fantastic.

“This is October baseball,” he said. “This is what we dream of.”

I'll be in the booth tonight @Mets with Gary Cohen and comeback comedy actor of '92 Keith Hernandez! @SNYtv #LetsGoMets @JimBreuer
