East Hampton resident Jessica Seinfeld marked the 15th anniversary of her nonprofit, Baby Buggy, at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan on Monday night with “An Evening with Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer.”
The sold-out gala helps support Baby Buggy’s mission. Baby Buggy provides clothing, gear and services to families in need nationwide, donating more than 17 million items since 2001. Donations are distributed to a network of more than 100 community-based organizations across the country. According to Baby Buggy, “Each donation is tailored to meet the specific needs of an individual family served by the community-based organization and is designed to provide immediate assistance, as well as tools and programs parents need to build their self-sufficiency over the long term.”
Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer both performed stand-up, and among the celebrity guests were Drew Barrymore, East Hampton’s Ali Wentworth and Quogue’s Michael J. Fox.
