Now 62, Christie Brinkley Is More Beautiful Than Ever

Happy birthday Christie Brinkley! Bridgehampton’s resident supermodel turns 62 years old today, Tuesday, February 2, though you’d never know it by looking at her.

Some might argue, us among them, that the mother, model, actress, animal advocate, entrepreneur and author looks better now than ever. And perhaps it’s because the local beauty is living life to the fullest.

While Brinkley surely has more planned for today, she began her birthday celebration with dinner at 1770 House in East Hampton on Saturday. She was joined by children Jack and Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Alexa Ray Joel, along with several friends, including fellow animal lover Jill Rappaport. Brinkley chose a vegetable plate for dinner and beamed a big smile when presented with a birthday cake bearing a photograph of her in a mud mask and two candles to compose the number ”10,” because, as everyone knows, she’s a perfect 10!

The festivities continued when Brinkley appeared on ABC’s The Chew with Dan’s Taste of Two Forks 2015 co-host Michael Symon on Monday, February 1. The timeless beauty did some plant-based cooking with Symon during the show and quipped of her age and youthful appearance, “Here’s the good thing, I was born on Groundhog Day, so as we all know from the movie, you can just keep repeating the same thing over and over…so I’m going to choose to just—60 and holding.”

Later on Monday, Brinkley was back home and enjoying the beautiful weather and time on the beach in the Hamptons.
